US Army soldier Travis King is now at Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas after North Korea booted him from the country following his defection over the summer.
“An American soldier who sprinted into North Korea and was held there for two months before being returned to the U.S. is set to undergo medical testing and extensive questioning about his time in the isolated country before potentially facing charges under the military justice system,” the AP reported.
DMZ War has reported on King’s potential legal jeopardy, noting the Army’s plans to charge its last defector to North Korea should he have returned (Joseph White died in the country).
